Printing workshop for Schools

This workshop gives all schools’ groups the opportunity to spend a morning making first experiences with the hand setting of text and graphic display under the leadership of a trained teacher. The children should bring a prepared text which they then will set in lead letters and illustrate with Kartondruck?/???. At the end of the session every child is able to take their own creation home with them. In order to enable effective group work as well as making possible individual attention, the size of a group is restricted to 10 pupils. A charge of CHF 10.- per pupil is made to cover expenses (including materials). This offer is open to classes from all schools.

There is also the opportunity for any young people who are interested to be part of the museum’s workshop also during their free time and to print their own texts in book form. Ask at the museum for information on the dates of the Open Days in the Printers shop and the costs involved.
