From the main station Basel SBB to the museum 15-20 minutes via St. Alban-Vorstadt - Muehleberg - St.Alban-Rheinweg - Rheinpromenade - Café Papierühle - Papiermuseum.

By public transport

- From Basel SBB train station: Tram No. 2, "Kunstmuseum" stop.
- From German DB train station: Tram No. 2, "Kunstmuseum" stop. Walking time from Kunstmuseum tram stop: 5-7 minutes

There are no possibilities to park private cars in the immediate proximity of the museum! Where ever possible use should be made of Public Transport. Parking houses are to be found on the outskirts of town: at the "Badischer Bahnhof", at the "Mustermesse", at the Sporthalle St. Jakob, and in the centre of town: at the "Elisabethen parking" (near the Heuwaage) or at the "Spitalparking" (next to the Kantonsspital)
